The Post Graduate Department of Mathematics was established in the year 1965. The Degree course in Mathematics was started in the year 1981 and the Masters programme was started in the academic year 2012-2013. The vision of the department is to move towards excellence In higher education in order to achieve ajust, plural and equitable society in consonance with the constitutional values.

and M.Sc Mathematics- a 2 year (4 semesters) post graduate course in Mathematics.
