Computer Science is one of the thrust areas in Science and technology. The Department of Computer Science is established in 1992. The Department offers Complementary Courses in Computer Science for B. Sc. Applied Physics and B. Sc. Polymer Chemistry.

• Computer Lab -
The air conditioned Computer Lab well equipped with 28 computers, interactive board, internet connection, multipurpose laser , dot matrix printer and LCD projector with 5 KVA UPS is functioning in the first floor of New block. The practical class for complementary computer science are conducted in this lab
• Class Room -
Theory classes are conducted both in the lab and in Second Year Physics and Second year Chemistry.
