K.K.T.M Government College NSS unit in association with the Anti-Drug Club and Kerala State Excise department conducted an awareness class for First year BA and BSc students on 29/01/2020.Circle Inspector of Kodungallur, C.R Padmakumar inaugurated the function. Dr. Anitha.I, Principal KKTM Government College, Excise inspector of Kodungallur, PM Praveen, NSS Programme Officer and Anti-Drug club convener Unnikrishnan.G were present during the function. Civil Excise officer of Kodungallur, Jadeer.P.M, gave an awareness class to the students. During the function, C.R Padmakumar presented a memento to the College Principal for the exemplary Anti-Drug activities of the college. After the awareness class, Devaprayag of II BSc Mathematics gave a practical class on the theme ‘Yoga and Martial arts as tools against drug addiction’ HOD, Department of Economics,. NSS Programme Officer Shany.N.S and other Anti-Drug Club members supervised the programme.

Vimukthi Jwala and Anti-Drug Pledge jointly organized by KKTM government college,Kodungallur NSS Unit, Anti-Drug club and Kerala State Excise department was inaugurated by Ward counselor Suma Narayananand. The function was presided over by Dr.Anitha.I. Principal, KKTM Government College, Kodungallur. Excise Circle Inspector CR Padmakumar gave Anti-Drug Pledge to students and teachers. The function was facilitated by Excise inspector P.R Praveen and PTA president Noushad T.A.

As part of the seven day residential camp of the KKTM government college,Kodungallur NSS unit in association with Anti-Drug club organized anti-drug rally, flash mob and Street play in association with Kerala State Excise department at Methala and Anchapalam.
