PROACTIVE DISCLOSURE UNDER SECTION 4(1) OF THE RTI ACT 2005
RTI 2005 stipulates time bound response to the manifold requests and appeals of the citizenry to elicit genuine information. It is a pathbreaking initiative taken by the Department of Personnel and Training, Ministry of Personnel , Public grievances and pensions to provide RTI portal to the public who are in need of information. The cardinal objective of RTI 2005 is to guarantee accountability and credibility in the nature and working of government , to weed out corruption and empower democracy to the best interests of the common masses. An informed citizenry is an invaluable asset and vigilant pillar of every state.

| 01 | THE PARTICULAR FEATURES OF THE ORGANISATION, FUNCTIONS AND DUTIES | KKTM GOVERNMENT COLLEGE, PULLUT KODUNGALLUR THRISSUR KERALA is a higher education institution affiliated to the University of Calicut. The college offers 7 programmes of which 3 are post graduate courses and 4 are graduate programmes. The college is fully equipped with 49 full time teaching faculties and 15 non-teaching personnel and a total of around 800 students. The college is committed to providing systematic service delivery measures to meet the challenges of the vibrant student community as well as society. |
| 02 | THE POWERS AND DUTIES OF OFFICERS AND EMPLOYEES | The Principal is the executive head of the institution. The policy decisions are taken by the college council comprising of principal, all heads of departments and coordinator, IQAC. The duties assigned by the principal are carried out by the secretariat staff. The departmental activities are regularly being held under the monitoring of the heads and students are the essential part of it. |
