Ours is the only educational institution in Kerala State, named after the Great literary Legend, Kerala Vyasan, Sri.Kodungallur Kunhikuttan Thampuram, a fact acknowledged with great pride by the staff and student community of this college. In this Golden Jubilee Year, K.K.T.M. Govt. College has been celebrating its great achievements by setting foot in the upliftment of socio-economic and educational aspects of the common man, in and around Kodungallur. The college organizes various extension activities for the development of the community in the field of promoting organic farming, palliative care, women empowerment programmes, community health programmes and promoting science education among school students. Extended in an area of 25 acres, the college has become a cynosure as it has, in its campus, the renowned Muziris International Convention Centre inaugurated by the Hon. President of India. A completely digitalized modern library and indoor stadium are under way of construction. The college functions as the centre for skill acquisition centre of ASAP as well. With the Govt. aid, we look forward to upgrade our college into a centre of academic excellence spreading its glory to the rural suburbs of Thrissur District.
