Walk With a Scholar (WWS) scheme proposes to arrange specialized mentoring programs for students in Under Graduate Programs in Arts, Science and Commerce and to provide guidance for their future. The scheme introduces the idea of mentoring and builds on the concept of mentor as a ‘Guide’ and ‘Friend’.

The College Council acts as the monitoring committee and supervises the activities of the program in the campus. The activities of the scheme are coordinated by a College Level Coordinator and five other internal mentors per each year in the degree course identified from among the teaching faculties. Every year each internal mentor spends 20 hours and external mentors spend 30 hours with the selected students.

Admission to the scheme is voluntary in nature. Any student of a first year degree programme with a minimum of 60% marks is eligible to apply for admission.
