National Service Scheme celebrated International Day of Yoga 20th June 2019,the theme for this year was “Climate Action’’ NSS volunteers are trained for Yoga and exercise for mind and body.
NSS volunteers of our college collected food and other items required for resue camp at Nilamboor.The NSS programme coordinators Smt. Ramani K.K. and Sri. G Unnikrishnan were accompany for the volunteers to Nilamboor camp and the collected items were distributed. NSS team spend time with the campmates for one day.
The NSS units and Department of Zoology jointly organized one day programe as part of nutrition month on 26th September.
NSS units celebrated “Gandhi Jayanthi” on 2nd October and done a cleaning work at Govt. Ayurveda Hospital , Pullut.
NSS unit celebrated 150th birth anniversary of Mahathma Gandhi on 3rd October 2019.As part of this a talk is arranged about the ideas of Gandhi in the current scenario by A.M. Shinas, faculty Department of History.

KKTM Govt College Kodungallur NSS unit in association with Red Ribbon Club Observed World AIDS Day through awareness class, human chain and Red Ribbon distribution to teachers and students.

As part of the seven day residential camp of the KKTM Govt College Kodungallur NSS unit organized anti-drug rally, flash mob and Street play in association with Kerala State Excise department at Methala and Anchapalam Fourth day activities in connection with the seven day residential camp- vegetable garden making, school wall painting, Neerthada paripalanam, pulkoodu nirmanam etc. NSS unit celeberated National Youth Day in association with Kerala State AIDS control society. Vice-principal Dr Nessy E A inaugurated the programme, followed by a Kathaprasangam of Vimala teacher.
KKTM Govt College Kodungallur, NSS unit, Anti- drug club and Kerala State Excise department jointly conducted an awareness class for first year Degree students.
